Appropriation / Public Intimacy

2020

This series is about the exploration of public and private. The main idea is to misplace and play with public and intimate photography in order to explore what does public, private and intimate mean to each of us, to confuse the audience and letting them realize the emotions they feel by seeing the images.

The images I used are my own, and I want to reappropiate intimate these images from a previous relationship in order to make art out of something beautiful that once hurted me to see.

This work was done for a photography workshop.
